Software Developer - Digital Innovation & Applied AI
Overview of Key Responsibilities
- Builds and improves internal digital tools, combining hands-on software development with innovation projects and practical AI implementation;
- Designs, develops and maintains applications, APIs, integrations, automations and data flows for new and existing business processes;
- Develops backend services and practical interfaces using Python, Django, FastAPI or similar technologies, plus frontend, mobile or lightweight user interfaces where needed;
- Works with the AI department to identify and implement useful AI-enabled workflows, internal assistants, knowledge tools and automation concepts;
- Clarifies requirements and supports adoption by shaping technical direction, defining success criteria, testing, debugging, documenting and providing daily business support when required.
Key Competencies and Required Experience
- Practical software development experience with shipped applications, internal tools, integrations or automation projects;
- Strong Python skills and experience with Django, FastAPI or similar backend frameworks;
- Experience with REST APIs, system integration and troubleshooting across different platforms;
- Working knowledge of databases, ideally MySQL or MSSQL; NoSQL experience is considered a plus;
- Frontend understanding with HTML, CSS and JavaScript; React, Angular or similar frameworks is an advantage;
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, issue tracking, Agile workflows, scripting, maintenance, troubleshooting and debugging;
- Interest in applied AI, LLMs, automation, internal knowledge tools or AI-supported workflows;
- Ability to turn ambiguity into a plan by challenging vague requirements and proposing sensible solution paths;
- Structured and reliable working style across several parallel workstreams, with clear ownership and follow-through;
